Competitions: Digital Camera Photographer of the Year 2008

Dear members,

There is an international photography competition held by the Digital Camera Magazine. Last year the competition attracted more than 81,000 entries. There are ten categories to choose from which you can either join one or all ten. Details are as follows:

• Register using a valid email address
• Images should not exceed 2MB
• Image format should be in jpeg
• A maximum of five entries per category
• A picture which has won in a major competition is not eligible
• Deadline for all catergories ends 30th September 2008

Overall winner of the competitions walks away with 15,000 pounds. Prizes for each categories are:

First Prize: 1,000 pounds + 1 year free subscription to DCM + 1 year membership to the Royal Photography Society

Second Prize: 350 pounds + free subscription to DCM

Third Prize: 150 pounds + free subscription to DCM
