macro and lighting~

these are a few photoss that i took while playing with my digi cam. i'm extremely new to this whole photography thing~ do be very very gentle~ haha :P

n.i.k.o.n - s.8
macro vodoo

direct lighting onto a glass apple

distanced light

focused light

subtle light

lighting creates a few different feelings up there, where, direct light seems like a clean shot, distanced light give a sense of fade away, focused light are to show off the texture of the object, and well, subtle light seems romantic and serene~ tats jus my point of view~ anyway, do have fun with lightingss!! :D cheers~~~~

Hohoho first post. . . lets all be brutal barbarians. Nice lighting effects~ What did you use? And i noticed you started to stamp your copyright on your pictures already with green perspective O.o" haha nice though~~~

>D .. now let the commenting begin~
huhuhu
i personally like your last two pics: focused light and subtle light. focused light looks like it can be used in an expensive perfume advertisement.hehe. the subtle light picture gives out this very soothing green glow. It has a texture to it. makes me feel like touching the picture... u know what i mean. =P

on the other hand, the focal point for macro voodoo could be improved . in the picture itself, i noticed you focused on the metal part instead of the doll. =/ .

other than that, good effort ~ : D

[toby] haha~ thanks for the comments~ :P yea~ i agree on wat u said bout focus point~ but, i wasn't really focusing on the voodoo tho~ i jus love tat photo~ hehe~ :) it's not the best shot i know, but sumhow i like how it was faded away~ hehe~ ^^

Overall pictures are noteworthy. However, the first picture could improve from lighting. The focusing has no fault. Adapt to spotlight effect for the first picture to bring it to life. The second and third pictures is a little too dull comparing to the concluding two pictures which are great. While taking pictures such as these accustom yourself to the use of a tripod to avoid blur. A closer look can reveal that the fourth picture is a little blur.

thanks for ya comments~ :) i find tat two photos dull too. sumhow, it shows pretty great different from playing with the lighting rite? tats the whole point of me posting it~ :) i'll try to improve on what u said tho~ about using tripod to reduce blur in d photo~ sumhow, currently, i dun own any tripod~ :) so, i guess, i'll try it out again when i get one? hehe~

cheers~
